Bee Drunk

Bee Drunk is an indie home-brewed mead brand created by my friend. Inspired by wobbles, bees, nature, and the charm of imperfection, Bee Drunk embraces a cozy, handcrafted personality. 

The brand advocates for sustainability by using previously loved bottles for every batch. No two bottles are the same! Instead of aiming for uniformity, Bee Drunk celebrates irregularities as part of the charm.

The brief: To create an eye catching bee mascot which can be used in branding elements. The branding must be bright, playful, silly and full of life. Client asked for lots of colours, and wanted branding to feel authentically human. 

Impact: Researching niche design trends in packaging was a task in itself! Ultimately, I learned how to create brand identity from scratch and create a variety of assets for use. In the following pages I explain a bit of my process and brand logic.
